We're celebrating our Downtown workforce - now 29,000 people strong and growing - with a series of free activities, events and giveaways designed with Downtown Syracuse employees in mind. Each day of the week will be focused on a specific theme, with lunchtime events, evening activities and/or early morning activities planned. Please hover over the "Employee Appreciation tab" on the side to learn more about the daily themes, or simply click the theme of the day listed below.
Moving Monday: Keep your body active by participating in free fitness activities including Barre and Kung Fu. Then, dance into the evening in the Persian Terrace at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown.
Tasty Tuesday: Pick up your free Downtown employee swag at the Downtown Farmers Market and sample nutritious food at the Women's Health Day wellness event at The Market. Throughout the day, focus on your tastebuds with complimentary treats and samples from Downtown eateries.
Wellness Wednesday: Practice all aspects of wellness with free fitness classes, Lunch-and-Learn sessions and demonstrations exploring topics including nutrition, stress management, financial wellness and Hands-Only CPR. Free lunch from a Downtown eatery will be provided at each session.
Treat Yourself Thursday: Take a break from the "Daily Grind" and enjoy free coffee and a snack, as the Downtown Committee of Syracuse, Inc. partners with Cafe Kubal to present a Downtown Coffee Break! Then, later in the afternoon, experience Downtown Syracuse by enjoying specials from Downtown retailers and sip on Happy Hour specials from Downtown restaurants and bars.
Friday Finale: Grab your colleagues and participate in a series of office competitions, team-building activities - including a Post-It contest - and other fun games.
