WHAT: Every April, the Downtown Committee of Syracuse organizes one of the largest Earth Day cleanups in the city. Tomorrow, around 200 community members are expected to participate in this annual event.
The Downtown Committee of Syracuse is thankful to all of the families, friends and work teams that volunteered to help beautify the heart of the city. Our team will welcome volunteers at various locations throughout Downtown, and provide gloves, trash bags and green volunteer shirts. Volunteers will be provided with snacks as well as the 315 Discount Card to enjoy deals at several businesses in Downtown Syracuse. Earth Day reminds us all to come together and care for our community.
WHERE: Throughout Downtown Syracuse:
9:00 am – Armory Square – SPS Parking Lot at Walton and Fayette Streets
10:00 am - Clinton Square – Clinton Street Side
11:00 am - Downtown East – CNY Community Foundation Parking Lot
