Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival Code of Conduct

The 2026 Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival is committed to providing a friendly, safe, supportive and harassment-free environment for all event attendees and participants. This code of conduct outlines the expectations for all event attendees and participants, including all vendors, exhibitors, sponsors and volunteers. Cooperation is expected from everyone, and organizers will actively enforce this code throughout the event. Your cooperation and adherence to these guidelines is required.

We value respectful behavior, openness, a positive attitude and a sense of community. In all our relationships, communications and partnerships with our stakeholders, we abide by these core values, and we expect the same in return from you.

The Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior. We expect all participants to treat others in a respectful manner, including Downtown Committee staff members, other artists, volunteers, and customers throughout all festival-related communications. If this code of conduct is not followed, you may be removed from the festival and/or not be invited to participate in future festivals.

Behaviors that violate this code of conduct include the following: violence, derogatory language, hate speech, and disruptive behavior. Your actions can significantly influence others’ behavior and response and have the power to shape our collective experience positively. We encourage you to hold yourself and others accountable for fostering inclusive behaviors.

If you notice any violations of this code of conduct, or if you encounter any issues yourself, please do not hesitate to inform a staff member of the Arts and Crafts Festival.

Thank you for helping us make the Arts and Crafts Festival an inclusive, safe, and supportive event for everyone!
