Heart of Downtown

The Heart of Downtown is the embodiment of Downtown’s revitalization! Centered around the “main streets” of Downtown, South Salina and South Warren Streets are home to residential apartments, offices, boutiques and restaurants. In addition, many former department stores (including the Dey Brothers, Sibley’s, The Addis Co. and Woolworth’s) have been transformed into mixed-use buildings, featuring retail spaces on the first floors, offices on the second floors and residential units above for a thriving 24/7 community.

Hanover Square

The oldest commercial district in Syracuse, Hanover Square, is peppered with salons, retail stores, eateries, nightlife and more. The neighborhood’s history can be traced back to 1880 due to its proximity to the Erie Canal, which is listed on The National Register of Historic Places.
