Fall Progress Breakfast

October 18, 2023

The Good Morning Downtown Syracuse Progress Breakfast Series is returning this Fall! The Downtown Committee of Syracuse, Inc. and National Grid invite you to start your morning with us October 18, 2023. Help us celebrate the forward-thinking that has fueled momentum throughout our community.

The program will focus on the variety of housing, businesses and services that make Downtown Syracuse memorable and distinctive. First, Meg O’Connell, Executive Director of the Allyn Family Foundation, will discuss plans for the Chimes Building including use as mixed income housing as part of a broader vision that supports an inclusive downtown. Then, Carmen Cesta, owner of Carm’s Dog House, will share more about the doggie daycare facility coming to the Byrne Square Building this Fall. Finally, Cha McCoy, owner of The Communion Wine & Spirits, will speak about the one-year anniversary of her business and the international wine expertise she brings to our city center.

Please contact Kris Sherlock (KSherlock@DowntownSyracuse.com) for ticket information.

The Progress Breakfast event is known for providing exclusive previews of people, places, projects and overall items of interest that the community is buzzing about.

The 2023 Progress Breakfast Series is presented by the Downtown Committee and National Grid. It receives corporate support from FustCharles and SWBR and receives media support from the Central New York Business Journal.

The breakfasts are held in the spring and fall each year.
